Pollution means making air, water and land impure. The establishments industries, factories, chemical laboraties is mainly responsible for the pollution of the atmosphere. The growth of towns and cities also adds to it by the garbage they produce every day. The whole world faces the problem of pollution. The purity of water is spoiled by the effluents from the chemical factories, tanneries oil refineries and industries.
Nuclear tests, smoke from chimneys and automobiles cause the pollution of air. Domestic wastes pollute the soil. Harmful bacteria are easily produced in it.
On the whole the cause of pollution is due to two reasons. The increase in population and the increase in production.
Environmental pollution causes many disorders in human life. Brain and lungs are affected. Recycling waste products removing floating solids, adding micro organisms to decompose the organic wastes would control water control water pollution. The radio active wastes should be sealed in containers and buried under the sea.
Let us be awake to the legacy that we leave for the coming generation.
